In mid-to-late 2024, I was asked by my DVP to create a logo for our Business Unit:  PreSales.  This request had a quick turnaround time - they wanted something ASAP.
I wanted to create a logo that would fit in well with the already-established branding guidelines and PowerPoint templates ADP had built.  Without any design software installed on my work laptop, I resorted to my tried and true tool of choice:  PowerPoint.
15 minutes of experimenting later, I came up with something simple but effective - and the team loved it:
Next order of business:  to create our very own PreSales branding slide templates in PowerPoint.
ADP was updating the company branding around this time as well for its 75th anniversary, so I kept in mind the direction the company was going from a branding standpoint while I built out the "PreSales look" that would fit in with the larger theme.

To keep things within the ADP brand, I started with one of the PowerPoint templates available with the company's official branding.  From there, I used a combination of graphics I used in the established ADP templates and graphics I recently created for PreSales projects.
Some graphics were altered slightly either by color or size to suit each slide's formatting.  I also swapped out the stock images to fit the PreSales team's specific needs & themes.
One slide in the template had several stock photos which gave me the idea of replacing them with the photos of PreSales senior leadership to create the perfect intro slide for the PreSales deck:
The master template was made available to PreSales leadership and would continue to be updated to keep visuals fresh and provide more formatting options for the slides.

The creation of the PreSales logo led to a request to redesign another logo I had previously created.  My colleague wanted that logo to now include the colors of our PreSales logo.
I provided 3 different options and showed how each would look on both a dark and light background:

Once the logo was chosen, they wanted to use it in related content including a teaser trailer for an upcoming event in 2025 and a teaser trailer to go with it.
Along with the new logos and branding, the PreSales team asked for the theme for the year to be that of climbing a mountain.
The upcoming event also utilized the phrase "elevate your game" that would follow this theme and inspire the teaser trailer above as well as this image specific to the event itself:
It goes without saying, that the event would need its own slide deck to go with it!  The template slides I created for PreSales was a great starting point that I continued to build off of.
I focused on adding images to fit the "mountain climbing" theme which would be useful of other related presentations & content as well.
This next slide had a lot of empty space in the bottom right corner so created a unique shape and filled it with a mountain-themed image found on Unsplash.com (specifically one with a group of people since the slide mentioned team meetings) to add some more interest.
There was going to be a panel session in an upcoming call that would involve the group of panelists discussing a handful of questions.  My colleague found a photo that was in line with the mountain climbing theme and I created this slide for displaying each question on the call.
The mountain illustration was found in Canva and I added it for a bit more interest on the slide.  I also positioned the illustration in a way that it matched the slope in the photo.
This mountain climbing theme would carry over into my design of the PreSales quarterly recognition package:
